Veterinarian - Full Time, DVM
Dr. Shayan Musa graduated as a veterinarian from UVAS in 2024 and is excited to begin his veterinary career with the team at Wetaskiwin Animal Clinic. Originally from Pakistan, Dr. Musa was brought up on a farm, where his early experiences caring for animals helped inspire his passion for veterinary medicine and animal welfare.
He has a strong interest in small animal emergency medicine, surgery, diagnostics, and preventative care, and enjoys building meaningful relationships with both pets and their owners. During his veterinary training and early professional experience, he developed a particular enthusiasm for clinical problem-solving and lifelong learning, while also helping support veterinary students preparing for professional examinations.
In his spare time, Dr. Musa enjoys playing chess, drawing, and video games. He is very excited to become part of the Wetaskiwin community and looks forward to caring for local pets and supporting the families who love them.
