Dr. John A Scholten

Dr. John grew up on a small dairy farm in the Ottawa valley and after graduating from OVC in 1980 moved out to Alberta with Fiona. John focused mostly on large animal veterinary medicine and surgery in the good old younger days. After his shoulders and knees started wearing out from too many rectal palpations, calvings and prolapsed uteruses, he turned his attention to small animals which were much easier physically at least. Dr. John enjoys doing all types of surgeries from spays to C-sections and orthopedics. The challenge of diagnostically complex medical cases stimulates and intrigues his convoluted logarithmic mind. Dr. John is the local computer nerd and resident Webmaster for the clinic. If you have any ideas, suggestions or improvements you would like to see added just email them to him at John@WACvet.ca . Fiona and John, their 3 children along with an array of horses, sheep, dogs and cats live on a farm enjoying the clean air and country lifestyle.  When not feeding the animals, mowing the lawns or gardening they try to relax playing golf.
