Our groomer has limited availability as she also works within the clinic as a Veterinary Medical Assistant. If you are interested in her grooming services please give the clinic a call.
We are able to offer specific grooming services for both dogs and cats at our clinic. Grooming can have many additional health benefits to your pet beside the usual ‘beauty parlor’ look and smell! Our clinic offers grooming services specifically for those unable to be groomed at a grooming salon.
We only do our grooming with sedation for patients who require it. These grooms also include a physical exam, before the sedation/anesthesia, then the grooming procedure is done. Once the grooming is finished and your pet is recovered from sedation you will receive a call that your pet is ready for pick up. Please note we do not have a professional groomer on staff, we do not do fashion grooming. Our grooms are for the health and benefit of your pet.
Other Grooming Services Available:
Lion Clips – Cat Grooming, long haired cats are often plaqued with mats and it can easily get out of control. In some cases when brushing is not an option, cats may be shaved down to look similar to a lion. There tail, legs and head/neck area are left long but mats are brushed out and the rest of the cat is shaved down close to the skin. These are generally done under sedation.
Nail Trims – Routine nail trimming, with trained animal health technologist team members.
Laser Nail Trims with sedation/anesthesia – nail are trimmed back using the laser which cuts the nail and cauterizes the quick of the nail. These nail trims are done for severely overgrown nails, or for patients that are anxious about nail trims. They are usually done 2-4 times per year depending on the growth of the nails.
Anal Glands – Most often diet can help with Anal Gland Issues, however some dogs will need Anal Gland Expression. This procedure is done by one of our trained health care staff.
