Annicka grew up on a dairy farm in a small village in Sweden, moved to Canada in 1979. There she worked on a dairy farm for a couple of years before she started her first job in a veterinary clinic in 1981. Annicka says that animals have always been my passion, and I had numerous pets over the years, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, cats and a dog. I also enjoy gardening. In the spring and summer I spend my weekends working at the Greenhouse in Bittern lake.
