Barb grew up in Flin Flon, a small mining town in northern Manitoba. She knew at an early age that she wanted a career with animals. She completed her Veterinary Technician diploma at SIAST in Saskatoon, and after her graduation in 2005, worked in Saskatoon for a couple of years while expanding her education. In 2008, she relocated to Camrose. Her and her husband Dennis, live just west of Camrose with their 3 children, 1 dog and 2 cats. In her spare time, she enjoys chasing her kids around, watching her kids at their various activities and playing hockey with a women’s rec hockey team.
