With Alberta being in a state of emergency it’s important to be prepared. Our pets should be a part of emergency planning.
An emergency evacuation can come in a moments notice so here are a few things to have ready for your pet:
- At least 3 days of food
- Medication
- Travel litter box – Rubbermaid container with a lid works well
- Favorite treats
- Crate or collapsible pen
- Food and water dishes
- Leash & collar
- Bedding/blankets
