Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we have adapted to the COVID-19 pandemic over the past two to three months. As regulations and relaunch directives continue to evolve across the country, the health and safety of our clients, patients and team members will continue to be our number one priority.
As the COVID-19 outbreak continues, we ask that if you have a fever, new cough, difficulty breathing and/or you have travelled in the last 14 days or have been in contact with a person who is suspected of, or who has, COVID-19, please take the advice of our public health authorities and self isolate.
At the Wetaskiwin Animal Clinic we will continue to offer contactless check-in and check-out services while following physical distancing and enhanced disinfection protocols within our hospital to help everyone stay safe. As we enter this transition phase we will be offering more services to our clients for their pets. We will start doing normal examinations and vaccinations but on a careful and safe basis so please call 780-352-7006 for more information and to schedule appointments. We will also re-start elective surgeries and dental but on a limited basis so contact us first. Feel free to email us at info@wacvet.ca or request online appointments at Appointments.
At this point in time, there is no evidence that pets play a role in transmitting the COVID-19 to humans
Social distancing and proper hygiene measures are still critically important for everyone including our clients, patients, and the entire veterinary team.
Alberta’s Relaunch Strategy puts safety first while gradually reopening businesses, resuming activities and getting people back to work. With strict safety guidelines in place, Albertans can and should confidently support Alberta businesses as we relaunch the economy.
While we face a long road to recovery, our collective efforts have helped slow the spread of COVID-19.
We must ensure the sacrifices we have already made are not wasted. To be successful, we must stay vigilant to slow the spread: follow public health measures, practice physical distancing and good hygiene, and continue acting responsibly.
