Nutritional Counseling
Animals have various nutritional requirements depending on their age, breed and health status. Decisions regarding your pet’s nutrition should not be made without first consulting a veterinarian. With spayed and neutered pets their metabolism decreases so they require 15 to 20% less less energy. Make sure you fed them less and monitor their body condition score closely to ensue they don't get overweight. Geriatric animals have significantly different requirements than young growing puppies or kittens. Animals with diabetes or kidney disease also have different requirements. Your veterinarian will be able to make informed decisions regarding your pet’s choice of diet given their age, breed and health status.
